On September 28, 2022, Qiu Sheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Honggutan District Committee and deputy head of the district; Gong Hydrocarbon, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of Honggutan District Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry, and his delegation visited our company for discussion, accompanied by Wang Zhen, the relevant person in charge of the District Urban Investment Company, and others.
At the symposium, Qiu District Mayor and other leaders first listened to the introduction of the company by Li Xiang, Chairman of Deepano Technology. This includes the company’s development history and team, product array, key customer strategy, and future plans. The leaders have developed a strong interest in the company’s multiple intelligent hardware during the product display process, and have provided many constructive suggestions for our company based on market orientation and industry trends. From the introduction of the leaders of Honggutan District, we know that since the first “first shot” of urban VR industry development in China, Honggutan District, as the core area in the layout of “one core, three bases and multi-point support” of Nanchang’s digital economy, focuses on the layout of eight tracks, including Metaverse and related industries, VR/AR, artificial intelligence and 5G, and digital cultural innovation, and strives to build a core area for digital economy innovation in Jiangxi Province and a pilot area for Metaverse. The solid carrier provides fertile ground for the rapid development of VR industry in Honggutan District. The World VR Industry Conference is a professional exhibition of virtual reality industry in China and the world. Under the opportunity of holding the conference for four consecutive years, Honggutan District focuses on scientific research and innovation, investment attraction, and platform construction, cultivates chain owners, drives agglomeration, and gradually expands the VR industry chain. The momentum of leading in the national VR field is more obvious.
Our cooperation with Nanchang began in November 2020, and Mr. Li Xiang was invited to participate in the second China Augmented Reality Core Technology Industry Summit with the theme of “Innovation Driven, Integrated Development”. The Summit was co-sponsored by the China Augmented Reality Core Technology Industry Alliance, the People’s Government of Honggutan District, Nanchang City, and the China Association of Artificial Intelligence, and co-hosted by SenseTime, the State Key Laboratory of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, and the State Key Laboratory of Network and Exchange Technology. The “Basic Requirements and Testing Methods for Augmented Reality Glasses Cameras” standard, developed with the participation of Deepano Technology, was officially released at this meeting. The document specifies the technical requirements, camera requirements, and testing methods for AR glasses cameras, which are applicable to the design, research and development, production, inspection, and application of AR glasses cameras. This standard has made important efforts for the China Augmented Reality Core Technology Industry Alliance to accelerate the promotion and application of technologies such as augmented reality, promote multi-dimensional and comprehensive integration of industry, academia, and research, and jointly tackle key technologies. At the meeting, Mr. Li Xiang was invited to participate in the launch ceremony of the IEEE AR standard working group and group standard release together with government officials.
